Judge accused of racist remarks now forbidden from hearing cases

After substaintial pushback against an Allegheny county judge, including outspoken comments from BPEP representatives, Judge Mark Tranquilli has been suspended from hearing any cases.

B-PEP Chariman TIm Stevens was quoted in the Post Gazette, “We found these remarks beyond disturbing…With his racist views on record he need not be in position to judge anyone or anything.”
