Honoring our Civil Rights Mother, Alma Speed Fox

Alma Speed Fox accepts an honor.

B-PEP recently joined the PA Human Relations Commission its Director, Lyle Wood, to honor 95-year-old Alma Speed Fox. The event was held October 4, 2019 at the CCAC Allegheny Campus. Ms. Fox was honored for her lifetime achievements in civil rights. B-PEP founder Tim Steven's calls Fox his "Civil Rights Mother." The B-PEP headquarters, at 2201 Wylie Avenue in the Hill District, is housed in the Alma Speed Fox Building.
