FREE PennDOT Flagger Training 1/29/21- leading to wages $16 to $24 or more...in safe spaced work
Hi Peers in Career and Workforce Development,
Just wanted to share at PCSI, any City neighbors hurting and seeking work can get free training FAST and a hand to get back to work this spring, as a PennDOT Safety Trained & Wallet Card Carrying Flagger. This card makes them able to work on any PA road job or crew, for 3 years, and earn living wages.
Please see attached and rounds will also be done also evenings, at COLAB18 Tues 2/16 and 2/23 both 4PM till 8:00 PM. Then also back at PCSI 2/28 10am so this will be ongoing but in small groups. Employers often need dozens each and we may have big building and infrastructure improvements upon us all soon!!!
All grads will meet employers thru-out and at a 3/5/21 and 3rd Annual PJ Dick Family of Cos, PCSI et,al Greater Pittsburgh Flaggers & Outdoor Laborer Fair. Here most wages start over $15 PH or at prevailing rates with benefits and with companies that will offer ongoing training, advancement options, and more. All very second chance and recovery friendly.
