A few things that P4W is doing in relations to the pandemic:
Partner4Work (P4W) Board of Directors agreed to lead a coalition with broad-based representation to lead and execute a recovery plan for the region’s businesses and workers.
P4W has stated convening a small group of business, labor, philanthropy, education, and economic development leaders to develop the blueprint, prioritize action steps, and outline a strategy to lead the region through the crisis and beyond. This is a first step in mobilizing leadership, resources, and action across the city and county to respond immediately and in the long-term for the region to emerge stronger than before. If you have specific questions about the coalition please let me know.
In addition, P4W and its partners in PA CareerLink Allegheny County are striving to bring more flexibility and innovation to the workforce system. To that end, immediate hiring opportunities are highlighted at CareerLinkPittsburgh.com, and staff is working diligently to deliver flexible enrollment options for individuals seeking specialized services.
P4W has also developed an online resources and virtual training opportunities which is updated regularly and please feel free to share this resources broadly.
